Last Three Cut:

S Josh Nesbitt
TE Zack Pianalto
RB Emmanuel Moody
OC Michael Switzer
ILB Brad Jefferson
DE TJ Langley
WR Naaman Roosevelt
-Having only three active RB’s concerns me, Moody has been doing well thus far in camp and his powerful running style could be enough to give him a roster spot.
-We have tons of LB’s (9 total) but lack overall developed talent. The thought of Chris Kelsay starting really bothers me and I hope they move Moats back outside.
-CB would appear to be a strength as of now, we need to see if McKelvin can finally have the light turn on for him, but if he does we have four corners who can cover.
-DL is still very thin, one injury and its going to be a long year.
-It will be interesting to see how they use Brad Smith this pre-season, I’d expect it to be very vanilla so they won’t give much away but during the season I expect to see him both in the backfield (as a QB and RB) as well as split out into the slot.
-Most of my practice squad picks were either developmental players (Nesbitt, Langley, Means) or players who play positions where we were thin on talent (Jefferson, Switzer, Moody and Pianalto). Roosevelt was picked because I want him to be a part of this team.
What do you think about Maybin being cut? Is Kelsay a starter in your opinion? Let us know what you would change!
