Scouting Report: WR Ryan Broyles

 WR Ryan Broyles

Height: 5’10

Weight: 188

Projection: 1st Round

Strengths:

Broyles is you ideal slot position WR at the next level…he’s very quick in and out of his breaks with allows him separation…He’s not afraid to make a catch in traffic even if he knows he’s going to get hit…Very effective when given the ball in space and has the ability to take any pass the distance…Despite his size he’s a willing down field blocker though his technique is poor and he will draw flags…The best part about Broyles game though is how precise his routes are…He is always in the right spot to make the big catch…will be the ideal 3rd down WR in the NFL who will always run his routes to the sticks.

Weaknesses:

Likely won’t ever be able to work outside because of his smaller stature and inability to get off press coverage…Is limited in terms of his potential, has a low ceiling of development…Not much of a big play deep ball WR…Doesn’t have the athleticism to out jump bigger CB’s and S’s…He can disappear for stretches during some games and is not as dominant as you like from #1 WR’s.

Film Room Notes:

Broyles v. Tulsa

Broyles v. FSU

Broyles v. Texas
