Mike Brewster-Ohio State
Height: 6-5
Weight: 305 lbs.
Projection: 1st Round-2nd Round
Grade: 6.9 (Grading Scale)

Strengths:
Good build, long arms, thick base and well proportioned…Athletic center prospect who moves exceptionally well and does a good job pulling and getting to the 2nd level…he locates targets well when on the move and was one of the key blockers of Braxton Miller on his QB draw play all season long…quick in his set-up snaps his head up very quickly and keeps it on a swivel…has phenomenal technique when he sets to anchor…plays with good leverage…does a good job passing off defenders to the OG…One of the most effective drive blockers of any center in this draft…keeps his legs churning through contact and does a good job moving his man off the ball.

Weaknesses:
Would like to see him work on his hand placement and staying engaged on the block…really struggled v. Michigan with DT Mike Martin who is an active DT who knows how to use his hands…he hasn’t seen many DT’s the size of the kind he will in the NFL and he’ll need to add strength to his frame in order to handle the 34 NT he’s sure to see.

Film Room Notes:
Brewster v. Michigan
Brewster v. Illinois
Brewster v. Miami
Brewster v. Akron
