Earlier today I have the extremely fortunate opportunity to speak with Penn State RB Stephfon Green about his time at the Penn State and what the future may hold for him.
The 5’10, 195 lbs. RB was a dominant force at Penn State in his redshirt freshman year, he ran for 558 yards and 10 TD’s that year. He was considered to be a possible savior a Penn State program that was looking for their next big time RB. Unfortunately for Green after that everything change and Green never saw the same amount of carries again. When his career ended Green would finish with 1,288 rushing yards, 13 TD’s, 39 receptions, and 447 yards.
In our discussion with Green we asked him about his career at Penn State, what happened with Joe Paterno, and what his teammates reaction to his dismissal meant to him.
We also spoke with Green about his intense workout schedule with includes training at a gym that has trained athletes such as Brian Cushing, Miles Austin, and Triple H. He is going through some new age therapy work to increase his agility and lateral quickness as well.
In addition to all of that he has hooked up with the NY Jets nutritionist to design a diet for him, and has added both yoga and boxing to his workout regimen.
According to Stephfon he has been recorded running a 4.24 40, to hear his thoughts on that, on what RB he idolizes and what all-star he’ll be playing in, listen to the interview below.
