LB Tank Carder to visit Bills

Tank Carder will come to Buffalo for a visit in April

We have learned that TCU LB Tank Carder will be in Buffalo for an official visit on April 1st and 2nd. The Bills get 30 prospect visits each year and Carder is the first for Buffalo that we are aware of. Carder was an All-American in both 2010 and 2011.

Carder is considered an OLB prospect for the 2012 draft and would be a good fit in the Bills 43 defensive front. Carder officially measured at 6’2 and 236 lbs. He moves extremely well laterally posting the 4th best short shuttle time of any LB at the NFL Combine.

Carder was a leader for TCU on the field, he tied for the lead on the team in tackles this year with 70 in addition to making 4.5 tackles for loss, and two interceptions. In both 2010 and 2009 he was more active behind the line of scrimmage posting 10 and 9.5 tackles for loss in each year respectively.

Carder has great tackling technique to go along with his above average athleticism. He should make for a 43 OLB in our scheme since he has the ability to both blitz and drop into coverage.
