OG Ryan Miller-Colorado
Weight: 321 lbs.
Grade: 6.8 (Grading Scale)
Ideal size if he stays outside at OT with his long arms and good height…does a good job staying low despite being a tall and he makes it very difficult to get under his pad level and stand him up…Has ideal length which he uses to keep DE’s at bay…Slides his feet extremely well, and stays on balance when asked to change direction…Does a good job bending at his knees and not getting over extended…sits down well when asked to anchor v. the bull rush…Finishes blocks well, shows some fire and tenacity.
We aren’t sure if he’s an OT or an OG…at 6’8 he’s got OT height but there are concerns about his athletic ability if he’s left outside…Doesn’t really display the amount of strength needed to kick inside so could he be a fit at RT?…He needs to work on playing with better leverage, especially against smaller and quicker DE’s…Seems to take him a while to get his movements all the way out, everything is elongated because of his size…His punch lacks any kind of pop or power, its often poorly placed as well.
