As my first post on BBD, I wanted to release my first big board. The board will grow as we go along but here are my Top 25 2013 prospects and some thoughts at the end.

1.Jarvis Jones, LB, Georgia*
2.Matt Barkley, QB, USC
3.Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU*
4.Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
5.Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
6.Keenan Allen, WR, California*
7.Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
8.Robert Woods, WR, USC*
9.Manti Te’o, ILB, Notre Dame
10.Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina*
11.Barrett Jones , OL, Alabama
12.Johnathon Hankins, DT, Ohio State*
13.Eric Reid, FS, LSU*
14.Jackson Jeffcoat, DE/OLB, Texas*
15.David Amerson , CB, North Carolina State*
16.Kenny Vaccaro , SS, Texas
17.Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
18.Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama*
19.Johnthan Banks , CB, Mississippi State
20.Chance Warmack, OL, Alabama
21.Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M*
22.Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU*
23.Chase Thomas, OLB, Stanford
24.Marquess Wilson, WR, Washington State*
25.Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State*

-J.Jones at number 1 is pretty simple, He’s the best player I’ve seen on the field so far this year. In a word, Relentless
-Barkley is still the top QB on m list but he has allowed others to start to close the gap. He’s not showing the improved arm strength that was reported and now people are starting to question his stats due to the amount of YAC yards his WR’s get. Still he is still the top QB 3 weeks in
-Geno Smith is the one player on this list that has risen the farthest up the board for me. He has been on a tear to start off the season and if he continues on it he can really challenge to be the first QB off the board
-There is a lack of high end DB’s in this years draft in my opinion. Amerson had a chance to get into that top 5 but he had a dreadful performance against Tennessee that really has people questioning his overall instincts. Good news about that performance is it happened early in the year and has time to make people forget it
-Another position of note that doesn’t look like it will have a real elite player at it is the LT position. I haven’t seen a LT yet that has really blown me away. There is still a long way to go however.
-Te’o is the best inside LB I’ve see thus far. He trimmed down a little bit this offseason and it shows, especially in his coverage skills. The fact that he is scheme diverse he only help his draft stock
