With the Bills on bye it was a good chance to take a look at all the conference foes and see what the sprint to the playoffs may look like for our Bills. The biggest news by far was the Dolphins loss of rookie QB Ryan Tanneheil and how long he may be out for.

-Real tough break for the Dolphins losing Tannehill for the game but the injury as of recently reported doesn’t look to be to bad. That is good news for a team that is right in the middle of the playoff hunt with this victory

-Matt Moore took over and looked like he did last year. Nothing real flashy and put his team in a position to win and this time they did. This game will help him in FA’cy in the offseason

-The Dolphin defense really took it to the Jets offense. They swarmed them all day and at times it looked like they had 12-13 players on the field with how fast they were pursuing and tackling. The Jets could not get in any rhythm

-S C.Clemons had a heck of a game for the Dolphins. The secondary that was supposed to be a really big weakness for the Dolphins has really played well so far this year. It still has its miscues but overall it has been far better than anyone expected

-How on earth does a team that says they want to ground and pound end up passing the ball 54 times in a game? The Jets offense is a mess right now

-For Sanchez the clock is ticking and the trip to Seattle next week may be his last start in a Jet uniform.

-The Jets defense at this point is just getting worn out. With an already aging slow LB crew that is the heart and soul of any 3-4 D this is really going to start exposing them more and more as the season wears on. They recorded 2 sacks today but that was about all the pressure they got.

-At this point Rex Ryan needs to stop running his mouth. Its not helping his team and it hasn’t helped them in a LONG time. The Jets were going to have a tough enough time facing a division opponent off a bye anyway. The last thing they needed to do was give them bulletin board material to get them more fired up from a coach who hasn’t been able to back it up lately all the way down to player who never sees the field in Maybin talking. Miami was fired up today and they added fuel to it

-Tom Brady was just Tom Brady Sunday and London got to see one of the greatest QB’s of all time put on an aerial display against an overmatched St.Louis team

-Ridley had a great game with 127 yards on the ground and an 8.5 yard average but I wouldn’t look too much into it as the Rams were selling out to stop the pass leaving big lanes for Ridley to run through with a big chunk of it coming on a 41 yard run

-Gronkowski looked like he was back to his old Pro Bowl self today. Moving forward that is only going to make the Patriots tougher

-This was a good game for the Patriots secondary to start to gain some confidence against a very weak WR crew and they did. A player who seems to be getting better as the weeks go on is CB A.Dennard

-DE Chandler Jones keeps his name firmly planted in the defensive rookie of the year conversation with another good outing and notching a sack in now 5 out of 8 games
