When the Bowl games were announced the Chick-Fil-A bowl between Clemson and LSU was a game that immediately caught my eye and the only Bowl game I’m looking more forward to watching is the National Title game. This game is the classic matchup between a stingy defense vs an explosive offense.

The LSU tigers have had one of the better defenses in the country all year long. Its not that they are dominant in any one spot, its that they are very good on all 3 levels. On each level they have a first or second round pick making it very difficult to ever get into any type of rhythm against them. Most have heard about their DE’s Mingo and Montgomery but when watching this game I expect Minter and Reid to make an impression. Minter especially, he doesn’t get mentioned nearly enough with the top LB’s in the country

With Clemson you have an explosive offense with arguably the best trio of skill position players in the country. The key to their offense is at the WR position where Hopkins and Watkins make up the best WR combo in the country in my opinion. Neither can be handled one on one and they open up everything else for the Clemson offense. They give Ellington room to run and Boyd plenty of options to pass or run with the ball in his hands. Clemson has shown that once they lock in they become extremely difficult to deal with

#46 Kevin Minter LB 6-1 245*
The Bills already have one LSU LB on the roster but Minter is a better fit for the NFL game. He has better range and feel for the passing game than Sheppard does. Minter doesn’t get mentioned with the better LB’s coming out in this draft but he should. He could fall into the Bills lap in the 2nd round and be a good pick for the LB needy Bills

#1 Eric Reid S 6-2 212*
Reid stock has dropped enough where its very possible he could be another option on the board for he Bills in the 2nd or a slim chance at the 3rd. Reid plays very well for 90% of the game but has mental lapses that really cost him. Some team will take him and try to coach him up given his very good athletic tools.

#8 Zach Mettenberger QB 6-5 230*
#11 Spencer Ware RB 5-11 225*
#42 Michael Ford RB 5-10 216*
#44 JC Coperland FB 6-1 272*
#10 Russell Shepard WR 6-0 195
#68 Josh Dworaczyk OG 6-5 302
#64 P.J. Lonergan C 6-3 305
#49 Barkevious Mingo DE 6-4 240
#99 Sam Montgomery DE 6-5 260
#89 Lavar Edwards DE 6-4 258
#87 Chancey Aghayere DE 6-4 265
#18 Bennie Logan DT 6-3 295
#77 Josh Downs DT 6-1 288
#24 Tharold Simon CB 6-2 193
#6 Craig Loston SAF 6-2 205

Clemson
#10 Tajh Boyd QB 6-1 225*
Boyd I imagine will go back but it will be a good chance for Bills fans to get a look at him if he does decide to enter. He is an efficient QB who plays well with in the system. He could go anywhere in the 2nd or 3rd round as of now.

#6 DeAndre Hopkins WR 6-1 200*
If you follow me you know I’m a big fan of Hopkins. I think he is an explosive complete WR who has been underrated for years now. Hopkins would go great across from Stevie Johnson and add to a sluggish inconsistent Bills offense.

#31 Rashard Hall S 6-1 210
Hall is someone to look at in the late rounds as a Special Team contributor and depth at the Safety position for the Bills. Wilson has shown his age and Searcy may be the starter, which creates an issue for the Bills because Searcy backs up both spots

#23 Andre Ellington RB 5-09 192
#80 Brandon Ford TE 6-3 235
#63 Brandon Thomas OG 6-3 305*
#55 Dalton Freeman C 6-4 286
#97 Malliciah Goodman DE 6-4 280
#46 Jonathan Willard OLB 6-2 223
#9 Xavier Brewer CB 5-11 190
#5 Jonathan Meeks S 6-1 210

Prediction: In a tight one I’ll take the LSU Tigers 23-20
