2013 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Superbowl (2/4)

33. Jacksonville Jaguars
WR Da’Rick Rogers-Tennessee Tech
Rogers is a Top 15 talent on the field, and I think he’ll go much earlier than many are currently predicting.

34. Kansas City Chiefs
RB Eddie Lacy-Alabama* (Scouting Report)
Adding Lacy along with Smith should completely transform a Chiefs offense that was poor in 2012.

35. Philadelphia Eagles
OG Johnathan Cooper-UNC (Scouting Notes)
Eagles stick with OL early as they try and rebuild an offense that couldn’t protect the QB or run the ball effectively.

36. Detroit Lions
CB Xavier Rhodes-FSU (Scouting Notes)
Xavier Rhodes may turn out to be the best CB in this class and he becomes a big add for the Lions here.

37. Cincinnati Bengals (via OAK)
DE Alex Okafor-Texas (Scouting Report)
With Micheal Johnson’s pending FA it’s safe to say that the Bengals may need to get some insurance. Okafor had a huge week in Mobile re-securing his stock.

38. Arizona Cardinals
QB Ryan Nassib-Syracuse (Scouting Report)
The Cardinals finally get their QB here as they take Ryan Nassib only a few picks in front of his college coaches new team.

XX. Cleveland Browns
The Browns forfeit this pick due to the supplemental draft selection of Josh Gordon

39. New York Jets
QB Mike Glennon-NC State (Scouting Report)
With an eye on their future the Jets take Mike Glennon to challenge Mark Sanchez to step his game up.

40. Tennessee Titans
RB Giovanni Bernard-UNC* (Scouting Notes)
The Titans can’t afford to be paying Chris Johnson as much as they are for as little return as they are getting. Bernard is a versatile weapon who could either spell or replace Johnson.

41. Buffalo Bills
TE Jordan Reed-Florida* (Scouting Notes)
New coach Doug Marrone has made it clear the Bills will be flexible and that will require special players to be added. TE Jordan Reed is considered the top Joker TE in this class and can line up almost anywhere, including as a wildcat QB. He’s a fit in every formation and could be a big help to a Bills offense that needs to find some new energy.

42. Miami Dolphins
TE Gavin Escobar-San Diego State (Scouting Notes)
The Dolphins follow the Bills lead and add another versatile TE, some rank Escobar as the top TE in this draft.

43. Tampa Bay Bucs
WR Stedman Bailey-West Virginia* (Scouting Notes)
Tavon Austin may get all the love but it was Bailey who was right there with him all season long as part of the dynamic duo.

44. Carolina Panthers
OLB Barkevious Mingo-LSU (Scouting Report)
The Panthers have shown they know how to convert players with Thomas Davis, but can they do it again with a talent like Barkevious Mingo?

XX. New Orleans Saints
The Saints have forfeited their second round pick due to the “Bountygate” scandal.

45. San Diego Chargers
DE Datone Jones-UCLA (Scouting Report)
The Chargers add some much needed DL help in Datone Jones who can pair with Corey Liuget.

46. St. Louis Rams
OG Larry Warford-Kentucky
With the weapons the Rams added in Round 1 now it’s time to buy Sam Bradford some time and make room for Stephen Jackson to do his thing.

47. Dallas Cowboys
OLB Jamie Collins-Southern Miss (Scouting Notes)
Jamie Collins is a 1st Round talent in my book so the Cowboys luck out here taking the explosive athlete from Southern Miss.

  1. Jagsman says:

for the jags moore, rogers, and dysert is okay but i think a Draft of Moore, Cooper/Rhodes(id take rhodes cuz we need CB Help), and Brandon Williams in the 3rd.

Cooper would be a Better choice than rogers because he is a better character as well as a bigger need(we started like 5 guys at LG last season and thats counting Rackley who missed all of last year).

rhodes would be better choice because we have 3 Free agent corners which includes Cox(he should be Kept), Mathis(hes washed up), and Middleton(not a scheme fit). rhodes seems like the perfect fit for Bradleys Big corner style.

Williams would be better than dysert because the jags dont have real quality at DT and Williams is a Beast. Bradleys defense calls for 2 Big DTs and with Knighton being a FA, Mosley(average guy) and Pendleton(7th round guy last year) one could argue that DT would be a need.

  2. i think the Chargers oline problems are their highest prioity, they already have a stout def , and good receivers
