The Buffalo Bills made a bold and aggressive move in the first round of this year’s NFL draft, trading up from the No. 9 overall selection to select Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins. The Bills’ brass clearly had him in mind as their target, and parted with their 2015 first round selection and 2014 fourth round selection in order to move up to the No. 4 overall selection.

This move is all about providing second-year quarterback EJ Manuel with every opportunity to succeed by surrounding him with the 2014 NFL draft’s top wide receiver.

Full analysis of the Sammy Watkins selection is coming later this evening.
