OL Combine Results
As we enter into the meat of the combine this morning the first group of players to take to the field will be the OL and TE group. Below you will find a table that contains all the heights, weights, arm length, and hand size. In addition to that we have recorded all of the Bench Press results from yesterday as well.
We will be updating the table all day long on Saturday with results from the drills and will have comments below.
-James Brown of Troy looks really good running the 40. May not be a LT prospect due to size limitations but as a RT or OG prospect he could be very intriguing.
-Tom Compton runs the early low 40 for the OL at 5.03, and OG Adam Gettis smashed that with a 4.91
-Cordy Glenn who we like more as an OG moves extremely well, many analysts see him as an OT prospect but his tape shows struggles this year at UGA
-Phillip Blake with his sub 5.1 tell us about his ability to potentially pull and get out in front of plays
-Tom Compton lead Group 1 of OL in the 10 yd splits with 1.69. He along with Rishaw Johnson (1.70) lead the split for the drill and that signals the continued small school dominance of this draft season
-Mike Brewster looks off balance in his positional drills early, didn’t run very well either
-DeCastro looks flawless in his slide drills, perfect example of why he’s so good
-Rishaw Johnson forced to restart his drill after looking very poor in his mirror and slide technique
-Jeff Allen really driving his man off the block in the pad drill, does a good job exploding into the drill
