Perhaps it’s the draftnik in me since I’ve said this about every position, but there is intriguing talent throughout this year’s draft class of defensive ends. In a league where pass-rush and stout defensive line play is at a premium, the defensive end position is among the most important to have a great rotation at.

Joe Marino’s Senior Defensive End Rankings for the 2014 NFL Draft

The 2014 senior crop of defensive ends is full of hybrid type players who may project to play 4-3 defensive end or 3-4 outside linebacker at the next level. I based these rankings off of the positions these players primarily play in college, so all of the players ranked currently play defensive end.

The class doesn’t have any sure-fire top ten players but there are plenty of players with starter upside.

UCLA traveled to Nebraska on Sept. 14 in a highly anticipated rematch of last year’s game, which UCLA won 36-30.

UCLA struggled early and Nebraska looked ready to blow out the Bruins, leading 21-3 after capitalizing on UCLA’s mistakes. After the half, however, it was all UCLA, scoring 38 unanswered points to come out victorious 41-21.
