QB Jaybo Shaw lead the Eagles to a narrow victory over the Mocs

Any time you are able to push the #1 team in the country to the brink it’s a very impressive game, whats more impressive is that the Mocs did it without their star QB in BJ Coleman. Coleman whose injury early in this game gave way to RS Freshman Terrell Robinson and he lit a spark under this team. They ended scoring a TD to draw within one point late in the 4th Quarter but on the road Coach Huesman decided to go for two and the win. Prospect Preview: Georgia Southern v. Chattanooga

QB Jaybo Shaw has the Eagles ranked #1 in the FCS

This weekend will be a huge matchup in the Football Championship Subdivision as the #1 ranked Georgia Southern Eagles will play host to the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Moccasins. The Moccasins will come in featuring a high powered offense that is lead by the top Small School QB in the entire country. While the Eagles feature a triple option attack on offense and on defense have quite possibly the #1 Junior in the nation in terms of small school prospects. I like the Eagles to take the win and retain their #1 ranking in what should be a very hard fought game. (more…)
