The Buffalo Bills have been active in free agency, adding starters and/or depth at running back, tight end, offensive guard, linebacker, cornerback and special teams. The team might still be actively pursuing free agents, as evidenced by Kenny Britt’s recent visit to One Bills Drive, but any signings now will be few and far between, which should mean is adjusting its needs and determining who it should target in this year’s NFL draft.

2014 NFL Scouting Combine Impressions: Day 1 (Offensive Line, Tight Ends)

The on-field portion of the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine got underway Saturday morning in Indianapolis with workouts by the offensive linemen and tight ends.

The overall athleticism of offensive linemen has seemingly increased each year, and the 2014 class continued that trend with its impressive showing today.

The tight ends were underwhelming as a whole, with a mix of positive and negative notes to surround each player as none of them were able to put together a complete day.

One of these years we’ll have Bills playoff football to discuss, but not this year. So with Bills fans in “maybe next year” mode, it’s time to look at the future of the team. Buffalo certainly has holes to fill on both sides of the ball, and they’ll have their opportunities in free agency and the 2014 NFL draft.

The Bills have the No. 9 overall pick in this year’s draft. While the draft stocks of many of the prospects below might change between now and the May draft, the following seven players could all be potential fits for Buffalo.
