We’ve reached the longest six weeks of the Buffalo Bills offseason. With free agency, the NFL Draft, organized team activities and minicamp all in the rear window, all eyes are now looking ahead to training camp, which begins July 28, and the preseason and regular season that directly follow training camp.

The Buffalo Bills’ depth chart for the 2013 season remains a very fluid process. Many players will move up and down the depth chart, or move inside or outside the roster bubble, as training camp and the preseason progresses.

Earlier this week, Ryan Talbot made his post-minicamp 53-man roster projection. Take a look at his roster projection and my projected depth chart below, and feel free to let us know what you agree/disagree with in the comments section below!

What was expected to be a three-way training camp competition to be the Buffalo Bills starting quarterback has suddenly become a two-man race. The Bills announced the release of veteran quarterback Tarvaris Jackson on Monday night.

After Jackson finished third in another three-way quarterback competition with the Seattle Seahawks last season, the Bills acquired him prior to the start of the season in exchange for a seventh-round pick. Jackson did not see any playing time, however, in his only season with the Bills.

Jackson went into organized team activities as the only returning quarterback from last season’s Bills roster. The Bills’ quarterback roster now consists of one veteran in free-agent addition Kevin Kolb, who signed an incentive-laden two-year contract this offseason, and two rookies: first-round pick EJ Manuel and undrafted free-agent signing Jeff Tuel.
